Following the release of his debut album Gravity, Pell continues to celebrate his New Orleans roots with his latest visual for “Skyfall.” Teaming up with fellow NOLA-bred artists Ambré and Malik Ninety-Five, Pell takes us to his childhood home as he honors his day-ones.
Speaking more on the video, Pell shares:
“Skyfall is a song that really explains what it’s like to miss home but still feel the love. I felt a familiar energy when in the studio with Ambr é and Malik recording this record. We had a beautiful template laid out in the form of the Faux Delorean instrumental. It’s a big deal to be on a track with two of my favorites, let alone the leaders of the younger generation of New Orleans music in my opinion. The video exemplifies how we can hold each other down even when we are absent. That’s why we all are singing Ambr é’s vocals throughout the video, she couldn’t make it but we held it down and her energy was still felt.”
