R. Kelly is making a promise to the judge to be on his best behavior.

In a new report published by The Blast today (Aug. 1), Kelly asked the judge to reconsider the decision of no bond. The 52-year-old singer is arguing that he is not a flight risk because he has no money to flee. “Mr. Kelly no longer has the money or the entourage he once did to help him in his endeavors,” Kelly’s legal team states.

Kelly is willing to go to great lengths to prove that he is not a flight risk. The Trapped in the Closet singer is willing to submit to electronic monitoring and home incarceration. In his negotiated terms, Kelly is offering to make absolutely no contact with minors. Kelly will also limit himself to no internet access, which his teams says “will make it virtually impossible to attempt to contact any witnesses without being caught.”

“Mr. Kelly presents no risk of flight,” Kelly’s lawyer argues. “He is a lifelong resident of Illinois. Mr. Kelly never missed a single court date, from 2002 to 2008, on his previous case. The court did not consider that Mr. Kelly appeared for each and every day of his trial and was present when the jury’s verdict was read.”

As Kelly’s case continues to unfold, his team has undergone a lot of changes. Recently, his crisis manager, Darrell Johnson, decided to step down to tend to a family issue. While speaking with TMZ, Johnson explained that he would leave his daughter alone with the singer after stating that he wouldn’t.

“It wasn’t live,” Johnson said speaking on his initial interview with Gayle King. “I have nothing against Gayle, CBS, nothing at all. I just think that when you do a taped interview that can be chopped up, and my words [are] my words…I’d pull back if I had to do it again. I would one thousand percent leave my daughter—which this is not what this is about—with Mr. Kelly if I had to leave.”
