Drake doesn’t like any interruptions while in album mode.

Recently, Champagne Papi announced on Instagram that he was ready to cook up some new music. Drake’s longtime producer, Boi-1da, attempted to send over new beats when he encountered a connection issue. Being a man with a plan, Drake issued a public service announcement towards the Mayor of Pickering.

“Can the mayor of Pickering set up some stronger wifi towers so @boi1da can be able to send all his newest beats?? Trying to cook up. Thanks,” he wrote to his Instagram stories.

To give a little back story, Boi-1da has worked on almost all of Drake’s projects. Some of their efforts include Room For Improvement, More Life, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, Comeback Season and more.

As if being in album mode isn’t enough to keep him busy, Drake is also securing new deals. Yesterday (July 30), we reported that Drake partnered with LeBron James’ Uninterrupted digital platform. Uninterrupted Canada will allow Drake to become part owner and promoter of the digital platform. Canadian athletes will have the opportunity to speak directly with fans.

Last week, Drake inked a deal with Sirius XM and Pandora. The partnership will include a radio station dedicated to Drizzy, music choices created by Drake and other collaborations from the Toronto spitter.

“SiriusXM and Pandora connect directly to over 100 million fans and this partnership will mark the first major artist collaboration between SiriusXM and Pandora since the companies merged. This is the largest agreement both brands have executed with a major recording artist to date. Drake holds the title of most streamed artist of all time as well as the top selling solo male artist across the US,” the statement reads.

Moving forward, let’s hope that Drake’s wifi gets fixed sooner than later, all pun intended.
