Drake and LeBron James are up to something.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Champagne Papi partnered with LeBron James’ Uninterrupted, which allows the digital platform to land in Canada. The deal ensures that Drake will become part owner and promoter for Uninterrupted Canada. The digital platform, which was launched in 2015, will now have the ability to expand internationally and enable Canadian athletes to speak directly to fans.

CEO Scott Moore, a veteran Canadian sports broadcaster, stated that the expansion will only amplify “what pro athletes with celebrity status love outside of their sport, with branded content, including feature films, events and merchandise.”

While speaking on the platform, James expressed that it’s been an exciting journey to see Uninterrupted grow. “When we started Uninterrupted, it was to give athletes a platform where we could share our stories and connect with our fans in a way we never had before. It’s exciting to see that idea now leading a whole new era of athletes around the world feeling empowered to do more and be more,” James said a statement.

The news regarding Drizzy and James’ partnership doesn’t come as a complete surprise. Throughout both of their careers, James and Drake have kept a tight-knit relationship. Last year, Drake appeared on HBO’s “The Shop: Uninterrupted,” which is hosted by James and business manager Maverick Carter. During his conversation, the Thank Me Later spitter spoke about his son, beef with Kanye West, how to maneuver in the music industry and more.

“I think maybe one of my biggest concerns in my career is just to figure out how to exit gracefully,” Drake said while speaking with the I Promise School founder and Carter. “I’ve watched people overstay their welcome, and I just don’t ever want to be that guy that’s addicted to the feeling of victory, addicted to the emotion of people digesting something that they love, and get to the point I’m just feeding them something and they’re just like, ‘yeah.’”

Congrats to Drake and LeBron James on their latest business venture.
