Meek Mill is using social media to his advantage.

While on Twitter, the Philly rapper found a viral video of a DJ curating an engrossing beat. The DJ, who goes by the name of DJTrackaddict, was seen creating the beat inside of a car. Although he posted the video in May, the video gained more traction when it was reposted by another account (@JuiceHarden) on Tuesday (July 16).

“Where is this guy at … the game needs you!!!!” Meek asked on Twitter after finally seeing the viral video. DJTrackAddict responded to Meek by saying: “I’m right here g! #practice.”

After their mini exchange on Twitter, Meek invited the DJ to work with him. “Come to the kitchen and let’s cook …” he wrote. “You got more of this type?” The Championships rapper explained that he was “f–king this beat up” and the upcoming track is entitled “Free Meek.”

In other Meek-related news, he recently sat down for an interview with Gayle King. During their conversation, Meek detailed the restrictions he faced while on his five-year-probation, which he received back in 2008.

“Even if it’s to the next county over,” he began. “If it’s out of the city, if you don’t ask for permission, you could get the rest of your probation time given to you as jail time legally.”

In addition to that, he was unable to do little things such as taking his son to school.

“My son lived in New Jersey, but I lived in Philadelphia, and the bridge is a 15-minute ride,” the co-owner of Lids said. “It’s just a bridge. I couldn’t go get my son from school when I wanted to, ’cause you know, some days I would get off work early. I would just have a free day, and I would just want to pop up at my son’s school and get him from school. I’d been out of town for two weeks in a row workin’. Can’t really do it.”
