As Sweden authorities continue the investigation against A$AP Rocky, his longtime manager John Ehmann is now being thrust into the probe.

According to Fox News, Ehmann was served a search warrant by Sweden officers early Friday morning and had his cellphone confiscated as evidence in the ongoing investigation. The news outlet claims that Ehmann was completely blindsided by the raid and believed that it was in retaliation for the #JusticeForRocky petition that has garnered over a half a million signatures since debuting earlier this week.

Rocky’s next court date is scheduled for July 19. During that hearing, the prosecutor will decide if they will drop the charges or ask for more time to complete the investigation.

“I’m no authority on Swedish procedure, but my understanding in talking to local council is that that’s the date that the prosecutor has to do one of two things,” Rocky’s lawyer Alan Jackson told Fox News. “Well I guess, one of three things — he can walk in and drop the charges, he could release Rocky and understanding that Rocky, in fact, is not a flight risk, that he’s not at the risk of either destroying evidence or committing more crimes, which are the three criteria on which to hold someone.”

Jackson concluded: “It’s been our understanding that the prosecutor has indicated that he will address the court and will request additional time, which would obviously not be our hope.”
