YG associate, Slim 400, still has a long road of recovery ahead of him.
According to a report from TMZ, Slim 400 has been removed from the intensive care unit and is currently in stable condition. Sources reveal that he’s expected to remain the hospital for some time and could make a full recovery in the following weeks. While in the hospital, the rapper has undergone four surgeries in an effort to aid the multiple gunshots to his body.
The news outlet also reports that his associate, YG, has come to visit his friend in the hospital. Supposedly, when asked how his crew would respond to the shooting, YG explained by staying “dangerous.” YG and many others have made an effort to visit Slim.
Last month, we reported that Slim 400 was shot nine times in Compton. A black vehicle suspected to be involved in the shooting was seen driving away from the scene. The motive, potential and suspects are currently unknown.
In addition to wishing the best for his friend, YG is trying to clear his name. A few days ago, YG’s vehicle was tied to a shooting that resulted in the death of a bystander. After the news hit the net, YG went public to defend his name. According to TMZ, YG had no prior knowledge that the car was being used at the time of the shootout.
“I was nowhere near the scene of this incident, I was in Hollywood recording in the studio all day,” YG wrote on Twitter. “I was there until after midnight on the 4th of July and didn’t learn of these events until after they happened!”
We will provide more updates on Slim 400 as the story unfolds.
