While it’s always exciting to recognize a celebrity or influential artist in the wild, one Twitter user has found out it’s that much more embarrassing when said interactions go left.

Over the weekend, on Sunday (June 30), Twitter user @JiJisBITCHBALL uploaded a photo she took with A$AP Ferg, a situation that normally would have been received with enthusiasm.

However, her caption, in all its confidently arrogant glory, noted how she mistook the man in the photo for ScHoolboy Q, something that the unforgiving internet was quick to clown her for.

“2015 was a tough year. Here’s a pic I took with @ScHoolboyQ,” she captioned the photo of her and A$AP Ferg.

In response to Jiji’s photo, ScHoolboy Q exercised his reputed comic wit, helping bring even more attention to the undeniably embarrassing mishap.

“Brah I’m going 2 bed early tonigHt,” he responded in a retweet that included the facepalm emoji

The tweet has since gone viral, with nearly 170,000 likes and over 36,000 retweets. The thread itself has yielded comedic gold, with users commenting their best memes and reactions, including fans sending photos they also took with A$AP Ferg as a joke.

In related news, ScHoolboy Q recently dropped a new visual for his track “Dangerous,” which appears on his most recent album, Crash Talk.

The Alexandre Moors-directed clip showcases an interpretation of the popular and powerful idiom, “An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.”
