Bow Wow’s ex-girlfriend, Kiyomi Leslie, claims she allegedly suffered a miscarriage due to rapper’s abuse
The model got a lot off her chest.
Back in February, Bow Wow and his ex-girlfriend, Kiyomi Leslie, were arrested for felony battery. Over the weekend, Leslie shared that she allegedly suffered a miscarriage due to the rapper’s abuse.
In a series of tweets, Leslie claims that Bow Wow’s family knew about their abusive relationship prior to getting arrested.
“Bet he won’t tell y’all the police been called out more than that one occasion and his family lied & covered for him that time,” she tweeted. “He beat me while I was pregnant. Punched me in my stomach & all… lost my baby and still covered for the weak ass nigga.”
Elsewhere during her Twitter rant, Leslie claims that Bow’s mother, Teresa Caldwell, covered up her son’s lies on multiple occasions.
“His weak ass momma called me sounding all concerned that her son beat me… TERESA KNEW her son beat me numerous times and still got on national television to lie… YOU LUCKY MY MOMMA RAISED ME TO RESPECT WOMEN BECAUSE WHEEEEEW ! Trashhhhh,” she wrote.
Leslie’s rant seemed to be prompted by the current season of Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta in which the case is vaguely addressed. One fan stated that the 32-year-old rapper’s storyline is not appropriate.
“Why is Bow Wow riding this domestic abuse storyline like it’s cute? Nothing about this is entertaining. #GUHHATL,” the fan tweeted.
Shortly after their arrest, Bow Wow’s attorney, Joe S. Habachy, released a statement to WSB-TV, which explains that the musician was wrongfully accused.
“Shad Bow Wow Moss was wrongfully arrested earlier this morning for the first time after being beaten by an out of control intoxicated female, Ms. Leslie Holden, in an Atlanta condominium,” the statement read. “The only two independent witnesses both corroborated his version of events indicating that Ms. Holden was simply out of control and was without a doubt the primary aggressor. For no logical reason officers arrested both parties despite having clear-cut evidence that Bow Wow was the victim in the case.”
