Lil Nas X, Young Thug, Tierra Whack & more to headline Adult Swim Festival
The festival will take place this November in Los Angeles.
Adult Swim has announced the lineup for their second annual Adult Swim Festival.
Lil Nas X, Young Thug, Tierra Whack, Scarface and Willie D of The Geto Boys, CupCakKe, Freddie Gibbs with Madlib and more are all scheduled to performing at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles November 15-16.
This year festival will also include “Adult Swim experiences” inspired by the nighttime programming block’s shows including a Robot Chicken Intergalactic Power Summit, a discussion with “Dexter’s Laboratory” and “Samurai Jack” creator Genndy Tartakovsky, panels, meet and greets, exclusive merchandise and games and more. The festival will also have an exclusive season four screening of Kanye West’s favorite show “Rick and Morty.”
Earlier this year, “Rick & Morty” creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland teased a possible Yeezy appearance on the show after the “Ultralight Beam” rapper tweeted excitement for the show’s renewal because it is his favorite.
“We fucking love Kanye, man,” Roiland said. “[He’s] a kindred spirit, genius, visionary. If that guy had the support to do all the ideas he has in his head, it would be fucking Elon Musk 2.0.”
When asked if West could have his own episode Harmon said, “I’m giving him an episode, I’m making it official. We have 70! He can have one. Kanye, you can have an episode.”
Tickets start at $49 and are available now. More acts are expected to be added in the upcoming weeks. Check out the full schedule below.
