As Nipsey Hussle’s case continues to unfold, more details are being revealed.
The woman who drove Nipsey’s alleged murderer, Eric Holder, away from the scene is scared that she’ll be a victim of a retaliation hit. The woman, who serves as a key witness, has been offered police protection.
According to a new report from TMZ, the woman, also known as Witness 1 in court docs, expressed concern over her safety various times. After investigating her claims, the detective involved in the case realized that Witness 1 has been receiving numerous outside threats. Based on this information, the LAPD believes it was “very important” to place the woman under police protection and possibly move her into hiding.
On March 31, the day of Nipsey’s deadly shooting, Witness 1 claims she was hanging out with Holder when they arrived at the Marathon Clothing strip mall. After being told to wait behind the mall, Witness 1 saw Holder pull out a black, semi-automatic handgun before exiting the vehicle.
There has been no confirmation on whether or not Witness 1 has accepted LAPD’s offer for protection. However, according to court documents, she signed an immunity agreement, which means nothing can be used against her.
Yesterday (June 27), TMZ also reported that the shooting was a result of snitching. Witness 1 claims she saw Nipsey wave off Holder as if he didn’t want to make contact with him. She also states overhearing a conversation where Holder asked Nipsey if he ever snitched.
Following the conversation, Holder got back into the vehicle and told her to wait outside where he proceeded with the gunshots. Allegedly, Holder ran through an alley to the front store where he fired several shots, which ultimately resulted in Nipsey’s death.
