Tenth defendant enters guilty plea in connection to 6ix9ine's racketing case

  /  06.28.2019

The federal racketeering case involving 6ix9ine continues to unfold. Most recently, on Thursday (June 26) another defendant decided to plead guilty.

As reported, Roland “Ro Murda” Martin pleaded guilty to one count, admitting to participating in a racketeering conspiracy. He is now the tenth person to enter a guilty plea, leaving two more defendants to make their move.

As pointed out by Complex, Martin’s name was left off the case’s most recent indictment. In other words, the exclusion of his name doubled as a presumed indication the government was in the middle of finalizing a plea with the 38-year-old.

As reported, according to court documents, the guilty plea means that Martin will not be prosecuted for his alleged role in a robbery that took place in Manhattan last April. 6ix9ine, his former manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan and several others have already pleaded guilty to participating in the robbery.

Two defendants have yet to either accept a plea deal or try their hand in court. Anthony “Harv” Ellison is reportedly accused of kidnapping and assaulting 6ix9ine in July, 2018 while Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack is being accused of dealing heroin, fentanyl and MDMA.

As reported by Complex, Martin will be sentenced on Oct. 3. His estimated sentence is reportedly between 77 and 96 months.

Meanwhile, 6ix9ine is scheduled to be sentenced at the top of next year, on Jan. 24, 2020. If the remaining defendants plead guilty before the case is set to head to trial, 6ix9ine’s sentencing may be moved ahead of schedule. The polarizing rapper’s legal team is hoping that the remaining two defendants decide to plead guilty, a move that could make a big impact on 6ix9ine’s future.
