Big Boi and Kid Cudi have landed new roles in Shutter network’s reboot of the Steven King anthology series “Creepshow” from the 1980s.

Cudi will appear on the “Bad Wolf Down” episode along with actor Jeffery Combs, and Big Boi will appear in the “Man in the Suitcase” episode directed by Dave Bruckner. Greg Nicotero of “The Walking Dead” fame will serve as the series showrunner and also direct an episode. The show will debut on Shutter later this year.

Kid Cudi is having a very busy year. After dominating the festival circuit with amazing performances at Coachella and Rolling Loud, he revealed that he’s releasing a new album next year and he plans to go on tour. He’s also releasing a collaboration with Adidas later this year, and recently it was announced that Cudi would have a significant role in the upcoming Bill & Ted sequel.

On June 29, Big Boi can be seen on TV One playing Berry Gordy in “The Bobby DeBarge Story,” the made for TV biopic about the Switch frontman and oldest DeBarge sibling. The film also stars Roshon Fegan, Tyra Ferrell, Adrian Marcel, and Lloyd. The film will focus on the “I Call Your Name” singer’s rise to fame with Switch, to his fall from grace due to drug addiction. Debarge died in 1995 at the age of 39 due to AIDS complications.
