Rihanna is making sure that every woman has the ability to feel confident.
While speaking with E! News at her Fenty pop-up shop at The Webster in New York, Rihanna explained that she designed her new Release 6-19 collection to compliment all shapes and sizes.
“We have our fit models, which is the standard size from factories, you just get your samples made in one size,” she began. “But then, I want to see it on my body, I want to see it on a curvy girl with thighs and a little bit of booty and hips.”
Elsewhere during the conversation, the Fenty Beauty creator revealed that her constant body changes inspired her to take into account the material she creates.
“And now I have boobs that I never had before…you know, I don’t even know how to sleep sometimes, it’s challenging, so imagine getting dressed,” Rihanna revealed.
The collection features an array of items including tank dresses, satin dresses, strappy sandals, hoop earrings, sunglasses and more. One of the items that caught the Navy’s attention is a shirt that reads “No More Music” and retails for $230.
Despite what the shirt says, the 31-year-old singer has confirmed that she is working on her ninth studio album. Last month, during an interview with T Magazine, Rihanna confirmed that she is making a reggae-inspired album. She also stated that her upcoming LP might be called R9 due to her loyal fan base.
“I’m about to call it that probably, ’cause they have haunted me with this ‘R9, R9, when is R9 coming out?’” she explained. “How will I accept another name after that’s been burned into my skull?”
Rihanna’s entire Fenty collection is available now on Fenty.com.
