When Megan Thee Stallion proclaimed summer 2019 a “Hot Girl Summer,” the Houston MC meant it in more ways than one.

A week after pledging to be a more “eco-friendly hottie,” Megan held her inaugural “Hottie Beach Clean Up” at Santa Monica Pier Thursday afternoon.

“It’s not all about driving the motherfucking boat,” The Houston MC said to her “Hottie” fanbase at the beach. “We got shit to do. We got shit to save. Causes to motherfucking fulfill. I really want to help. We’re going to clean this motherfucking beach up, and then we’re gonna drive the boat.” Snacks were provided as hundreds of fans cleaned up the Santa Monica Pier.

Houston is next on the cleanup list for the “Realer” rapper, but Megan is looking for other beaches nationwide that need cleaning as well. “The Cali hotties literally cleaned everything so fast! I had so much fun and drove the boat with everyone Comment what beach needs cleaning,” she said on Twitter.

The push for Megan and her Hotties to save the environment began last week when the “Cognac Queen” rapper Tweeted about looking for more ways to protect the environment. “I’m really about to get on my hot girl shit and use less plastic,” she said. “And I’m going to try to use the same water bottle,” she continued.

The date for the Houston clean up hasn’t been announced yet, but we’re sure the turn out will be even bigger in Megan’s hometown. Here’s to an eco-friendly hottie summer.
