It’s official: Future has new music on the way.

On Wednesday (June 5), the Hndrxx rapper announced his new project by sharing the abstract artwork on Instagram. The Atlanta native also revealed the title (SAVE ME) and the release date: Friday (June 7). At press time, it remains unconfirmed if SAVE ME will be a new song or a full-length album.

Nevertheless, that didn’t stop fans from sharing their excitement. “They ain’t even mentally ready for this beautiful masterpiece,” one user wrote. LETS GOOOOO!!!!!!” another person replied. If the project turns out to be an LP, it would be Future’s eighth studio album.

Earlier this year, the 35-year-old released his seventh LP, The WIZRD. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 126,000 equivalent album units.

The record became his sixth album to achieve the noteworthy feat following his first No. 1, DS2 in August 2015. His 2015 Drake-assisted project, What a Time to Be Alive, also landed at No. 1, as did Evol in February 2016, his self-titled album in March 2017 and HNDRXX released that same month.

Prior to his announcement of SAVE ME, Future removed all of his previous Instagram posts and shared snippets of new songs titled “Xanax Damage” and “Government Official.” Listen to the clips ahead and stay tuned for new Future material this Friday (June 7).
