Snoop Dogg calls out Facebook for banning Minister Louis Farrakhan: "F—k y'all"
Uncle Snoop was not happy about the decision.
Snoop Dogg is not here for Facebook banning his “dear brother” Louis Farrakhan.
On Thursday (May 2), the social media platform made the decision to oust Minister Farrakhan, who has been criticized for his anti-Semitic remarks over the years, along with several “dangerous” voices. Far-right conspiracy theorist and radio host Alex Jones and right-wing media personalities Milo Yiannopoulos and Paul Joseph Watson were also included in the ban.
In a statement to CNN Business, a Facebook spokesperson explained the ban, writing, “We’ve always banned individuals or organizations that promote or engage in violence and hate, regardless of ideology. The process for evaluating potential violators is extensive and it is what led us to our decision to remove these accounts today.”
However, Snoop had some choice words of his own for the social networking service. “For real? That’s how y’all feel? So Facebook and Instagram just banned Minister Louis Farrakhan, I want to know for what?” Snoop questioned in a video uploaded on his Instagram. “All he ever do was tell the truth. But y’all gonna ban him though.”
The 47-year-old also hinted at boycotting Facebook himself, saying, “What if we ban y’all? What if we stop f—kin’ with y’all Facebook and Instagram? How the f—k you gonna ban Minister Louis Farrakhan for putting [the] truth out there?”
“I stand with him. Ban me motherf—ka. Ban me,” Snoop declared, adding, “I’ma keep posting his s—t. I’ma keep putting Louis Farrakhan out there. That’s my dear brother. F—k y’all that got a problem with him.”
The Bible of Love rapper later apologized for his colorful language, but noted that he “had to bang” for the Nation of Islam leader because “it’s not right.”
