Cardi B responds to viral Billboard Music Awards photo: "First of all, that ain't my p—y"

No, Cardi B did not expose herself at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards.

All eyes were on the “Please Me” rapper when she walked the red carpet at the annual award show ceremony on Wednesday (May 1). However, one photo in particular caught the attention of fans which appeared to show Cardi’s genitals exposed while she posed provocatively with her husband, Migos rapper Offset. “If you see tweets, Cardi B’s kitty cat was out,” one person tweeted.

The picture immediately went viral, but it didn’t take long before the Bronx native shut down the rumors. During the live broadcast, Cardi uploaded a video of herself in her dressing room backstage changing outfits and explained what really happened on the red carpet.

“Y’all motherf—kers going around showing this f—kin’ picture, now y’all PhotoShopping it even more like, ‘Oh, Cardi p—y, Cardi p—y,’” she said in the now-deleted video. “First of all, that ain’t my p—y. My p—y right here. This [is] where I birthed my daughter from. This right here, you know the part that shows when I go like this, that’s just my ass,” she continued.

The 26-year-old went on to say, “You know when you’ve got a fat ass, that s—t gets fat right there? This part right here, this is the part that gives the d—k comfort. You know what I’m saying.” At that point, Offset briefly made an appearance before quickly exiting.

“Y’all wanna look at my p—y so bad, y’all shoulda went to see me when I was a motherf—kin’ stripper and I was promoting myself. Now, too bad,” Cardi concluded.

The night wasn’t all bad for Cardi, though. The proud mom went on to win six Billboard Music Awards, including Top Rap Female Artist, Top Rap Song, and Top Hot 100 Song for “Girls Like You” with Maroon 5. The rapper was nominated 21 times in 18 categories, the most of the night. Drake, however, made history taking home 12 out of the 17 awards he was nominated for. The Toronto native also became the most awarded artist in the history of the Billboard Music Awards.

Congrats to both Cardi and Drizzy. Click here for the full list of winners from the show.
