Nipsey Hussle has received an outpour of love in the wake of his untimely death last month, but one thing the family of the late rapper says they don’t need is any fundraising efforts to support his kids.

On Friday (April 12), retired NFL player Reggie Bush and his wife, Lilit Avagyan, donated $10k to a GoFundMe campaign with the hopes of raising $100,000 for Hussle’s 7-year-old daughter, Emani, and 2-year-old son, Kross.

“[Nipsey] touched a lot of lives in a positive way. He wanted to make a difference in his community, and communities like it all around the world,” Bush said in a video explaining his decision to create the fundraiser. “As a tribute to Nipsey, I would like to offer support to his children, and all funds from this GoFundMe will be transferred directly into a trust that was created solely for his legacy, his two children, Kross & Emani.”

Although Bush noted the campaign was only supposed to run for a week, it wasn’t long before the link was pulled offline following backlash on social media. Now, sources close to the family tell TMZ that there is no need for anyone to start any fundraising efforts because Hussle made sure his children were well off long before his passing.

According to the site, Hussle set up multiple trust funds thanks to the profits he made from his music, he owned all the masters to his work, and the earnings he made from his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles where he was tragically gunned down.

As previously reported, many celebrities, including 2 Chainz, The Game, Meek Mill, T.I. and J. R. Smith has made it a personal mission to spend their money at Hussle’s clothing store on Slauson Ave as a way to pay tribute to the Grammy-nominated artist. The high-profile customers have also encouraged fans to do their part and purchase items from the store as well.

“If y’all ordered anything, it’s on the way,” 2 Chainz told fans after news broke that the Marathon staff was having difficulty keeping up with the high demand. “They’re working diligently,” he said. During Hussle’s memorial service on Thursday (April 11), Hussle’s girlfriend, actress Lauren London declared “The Marathon continues,” signaling that his business ventures will live on long after his death, ensuring his children’s financial stability in the process.
