Rumors have been circulating that Beyoncé is working on new music and releasing a new documentary on Netflix. Reports claimed that the “Love Drought” singer didn’t have a release date for the new music or special, but on Sunday (April 7), Netflix sent Beyhive members into a frenzy with one tweet.

Netflix and the Netflix-owned Strong Black Lead Twitter accounts posted a promotional graphic for a project called Homecoming that is expected to be released on April 17.

The graphic, which has a gold background and the word “homecoming” interpolating the Greek alphabet, immediately reminded fans of Beyoncé’s merch from her legendary 2018 Coachella performance.

If the teaser from Netflix is indeed promo for a new Beyoncé documentary, rumor has it that the film would be attached to her 2018 Coachella performance and will feature some additional unseen footage. This would be the follow-up to Bey’s 2013 HBO documentary, “Life is But A Dream.”

April is turning out to be the month of Queen Bey. On top of celebrating her 11th wedding anniversary with husband JAY-Z on April 4, Adidas announced that Beyoncé is their new creative partner and they will work together on several endeavors including the expansion and relaunch of her athleisure brand Ivy Park.

“Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries,” Beyoncé said in a statement. “We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”

Following the news, reports surfaced that the “Apeshit” singer walked out of a meeting with Reebok due to the lack of diversity on their creative team. Reebok has responded to the reports, stating that the information is false. “Our discussions with Beyoncé and her team continued for several months after our initial meeting. We are disappointed that false information is being reported as fact,” the sneaker company told TMZ in a statement.

Back in 2016, Beyoncé launched Ivy Park along with British streetwear retailer Topshop. Beyoncé acquired full ownership and severed ties with the company in 2018, after chairman Sir Phillip Green was accused of racial and sexual abuse.
