Cardi B is up to something. According to reports, the Grammy Award-winning rapper has filed a new trademark for her signature catchphrase, “okurr.”

According to documents obtained by The Blast, the Bronx native’s filing shows she intends to use the phrase for branding on a clothing line, as well as for merch items such as paper cups and posters.

The trademark request was filed on March 11. Interestingly enough, Cardi decided to cover all basis by way of filing multiple spelling variations, including filing for “okurr” with two R’s and for “okurrr” with three R’s.

The 26-year-old typically uses the phrase to complete a sentence or express her excitement. The catchphrase, naturally, has become wildly popular in tandem with Cardi B’s rise to the top. It is commonly adapted by fans and parodied online.

During an interview with Jimmy Fallon on the “Tonight Show” last year, Bardi explained her siganture sounds, referring to “okurr” as “a cold pigeon in New York City.”

“You know, it’s like a cold pigeon in New York City… Okurrr,” she explained, offering a few variations of how it’s pronounced. “It depends on the situation that you’re in. If somebody checks somebody, it’s like…okurrr! I didn’t know she had all of that in her, okurrr! It’s like okaaay, but okay is played out…. We’ve done that already!”

In related news, earlier this week, reports confirmed Cardi B is set to make her acting debut alongside Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Keke Palmer and others. The rapper has been tapped for the upcoming stripper film, Hustlers, which is slated to begin filming this Friday (March 22).
