This week, R. Kelly made countless headlines after a variety of new developments surfaced in regards to his alleged inappropriate sexual abuse involving underage girls.

From the explosive interview segments on CBS to Kelly finding himself behind bars due to not complying with court orders to pay back owed child support, the saga continues and with another new string of allegations.

As reported by The Blast, another woman has come forward, not only as an accuser, but also as a witness to the singer’s alleged sexual acts with minors. On Thursday (March 7), she spoke with federal investigators about her experiences and what she claims she bore witness to.

According to reports, the woman wishes to remain anonymous and is being represented by attorney Gerald Griggs, the same lawyer working with the family of Kelly’s girlfriend Joycelyn Savage. The woman claims she was sexually abused by the embattled R&B singer, but was an adult at the time. She began as a fan of the singer’s and ended up in an extended relationship with him.

Sources close to the case revealed to The Blast that they believe a federal indictment will be “coming very soon.”

On Wednesday (March 6), the first of this week’s new string of allegations of sexual assault surfaced. In this instance, an anonymous woman from Detroit claims she and Kelly engaged in sex when she was just 13 years old.

Chief James Craig of the Detroit Police Department confirmed the report to TMZ and an investigation into the situation began. Authorities in Detroit believe the incident between Kelly and the unidentified woman first took place in Detroit in December 2001.

At the time of this report, R. Kelly remains in jail due to a second arrest pertaining to unpaid child support and is reportedly expected to be released on Friday.
