R. Kelly has been released from jail. On Monday (Feb. 25), the disgraced R&B singer was spotted with his attorney, Steve Greenberg, exiting a Chicago detention center after posting bail over sexual abuse charges. Kelly was wearing the same clothing he wore when he turned himself into authorities on Friday (Feb. 22) night.

Greenberg initially told the courts that the Grammy-award winner did not have enough funds to pay 10 percent of his $1 million bond over the weekend due to financial issues. Kelly’s attorney cited “mismanagement and bad contacts” as the reason for the delay.

Hours before his release, Kelly entered a not guilty plea. He faces 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse involving four women, of three who were minors at the time. Prosecutors allege the incidents took place between 1998 and 2010 and the ages of the minors range between 13 and 16.

As previously reported, a grand jury has heard the testimonies of up to a dozen women who have come forward against Kelly. One accuser reportedly provided prosecutors with “physical evidence” of her sexual relationship with the “I Admit” singer when she was underage.

On Monday (Feb. 25), lawyer Michael Avenatti, who famously represented Stormy Daniels in her defamation lawsuit against President Trump, tweeted he had uncovered a second sex tape showing Kelly engaging in sexual activities with a minor. This comes after the first sex tape Avenatti turned over to law enforcement allegedly featuring Kelly and a minor.

Following his release from jail, Kelly was met by several protestors who called him a pedophile and asked him about his alleged urination on the underaged women, TMZ reports. The 52-year-old will have to pay $160k in back child support to ex-wife Drea Kelly by March 6 if he wants to remain out on bail to fight his case. If found guilty of the recent sexual abuse charges, Kelly faces up to 70 years behind bars.
