Well, it was fun while it lasted.

If you were one of the many people who could not stop saying “DRaAAAKE?” in your best exasperated Soulja Boy voice, then this might be bad news for you: Drake and Soulja Boy have ended their beef.

On Monday (Feb. 25), Soulja Boy shared a screenshot of Drake squashing the beef in his Instagram DMs after a YouTuber tweeted, “Drake ignored you.” In January, Soulja Boy called out the Scorpion rapper during a now-viral radio interview with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club.”

“Stop playin’ me like I ain’t teach Drake everything he know,” he said told hosts DJ Envy, Charlamagne tha God and Angela Yee. Soulja Boy felt Drizzy stole his flow on “Miss Me,” a song off his debut album, Thank Me Later. “He copied my whole fucking flow, word for word, bar for bar. Don’t act like I didn’t make Drake. Don’t do that.”

Soulja Boy continued to express his grievances with Drake (it’s hard not to say it without the accent now, isn’t it?), telling XXL he felt some type of way because the Grammy Award winner didn’t invite him out on tour to perform their 2013 collaboration “We Made It,” nor did they ever shoot a video for it.

“Why we ain’t shoot the video?” Soulja told the publication last month. “Why this n—a ain’t bring me on tour to perform it one time, but he was performing my record on tour the whole time? Just little slick s—t like that,” he shared.

It appears Drake was ready to bury the hatchet the moment he was tagged in a video of Soulja Boy “cash[ing] out” at his OVO store in Los Angeles earlier this month. “You know it’s always been love all jokes aside,” he told the 28-year-old. “I dunno if you was serious about the video thing but I never knew you wanted to do a video for we made it you know I would have done that shit…”

The Toronto native ended the peace offering with a sense of humor by acknowledging the memes. “[B]ut on some real shit…Draaaaaaaaaaaaake?!?! kill that show,” he wrote. Keep reading to see the hilarious screenshot for yourself.
