On Friday (Feb. 22), devastating news broke that T.I.’s sister, Precious Harris, died at the age of 66.
TMZ broke the story that Harris was involved in a serious car crash last week in Atlanta, Georgia. We never learned the reasoning behind the accident. However, Harris reportedly hit a pole, which triggered an asthma attack. She was quickly rushed to a local hospital where she was placed in ICU. Moreover, she was never responsive after the accident and was put on life support.
Immediately after family members and friends learned of Harris’ hospitalization, they rushed to her bedside and asked for prayers on social media.
Tiny posted on Instagram: “Anybody that really know me knows how special & how much I cherish & love this lady, my sister @preciousharris1913 Pls pray for my sister & family. She’s a true fighter…always have been & God has the last word… 🙏🏽👑💔💔💔.”
“Friends & Family Hustle” also shut down production after the fact. Now that Harris is gone, we’re not sure when the show will once again resume.
Harris’ daughter, Kamaya, revealed the news of her death on Friday. “From my bestfriend on earth to My beautiful angel in heaven,” she said today. “I love you so much. I’m so heartbroken but the way you looked so @ peace this past week has confirmed that you are resting… no more asthma attacks… damn but baby I am going to miss you.”
“Family Hustle” fans are familiar with the sibling of the rapper because she always appeared to be in good spirits on the show. Fans also know that she and T.I. were extremely close. Tip recently posted on social media, “We Love You Dearly Baby Girl….” about his now-late sister.
Harris celebrated her 66th birthday this past May. At the time, Tiny’s posted a B-Day shout out to her on IG that read, “I hope you know how much u mean to me. Always been my road dawg. Love u much! Hope you enjoyed your day!!”
Our condolences go out to the Harris family.
