More details surrounding 6ix9ine’s plea deal in his federal racketeering case has come to light.

According to TMZ, the 22-year-old rapper, who was looking at a minimum of 47 years and a maximum of life in prison after pleading guilty to nine charges, could now be facing much less time as a cooperating witness in the government’s probe of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods street gang.

6ix9ine has reportedly cooperated with authorities and testified before the Grand Jury since his November 2018 arrest. Transcripts from 6ix9ine’s guilty plea confirmed his involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. The rapper also revealed details about the extent of his gang-related activity.

As a result, the U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York has agreed not to prosecute him for “the crimes set forth in Counts One through Nine,” TMZ reports. 6ix9ine will also be let off the hook by prosecutors for any crimes he admitted to but hasn’t been charged with.

Also on the table for 6ix9ine is a sentence “below any mandatory minimum.” According to TMZ, prosecutors could be looking at a yearly number in the teens or even less. His sentencing date is scheduled for Jan. 24, 2020.

“It is understood that the defendant’s cooperation is likely to reveal the activities of individuals and that witness protection may be required at a later date,” the plea deal states. 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, has been criticized by Meek Mill, 50 Cent and Boosie Badazz for his decision to work with law enforcement.

Badazz has been most vocal in his contempt for the Brooklyn native on Instagram writing, “WHEN YOU FIRST WENT TO JAIL I WAS LIKE FREE DUDE CAUSE I DONT LIKE TO SEE NO ONE N DAT CAGE LIKE DAT BUT ONE THING I DONT CONDONE OR SUPPORT IS RATS.”
