After Chris Brown made it clear that he wasn’t playing around regarding his and Offset’s differences, the police reportedly stepped in.

According to TMZ, authorities stopped by Breezy’s home after someone called the LAPD and cited concern for his well-being. As reported, police showed up to the singer’s home on Friday (Feb. 8) to conduct a welfare check.

Offset and Brown began trading shots at one another on Instagram, igniting a beef that began over 21 Savage’s immigration case. First, Breezy posted a meme making light of the situation and this inspired the Migos rapper to call him out on social media.

From there, the situation eventually got to a point where Brown sent Offset his address on Instagram, further reinforcing how serious he was in his proposition for the pair to duke it out offline. In other words, after Brown shared his San Fernando Valley address, his 50 million followers were also informed of his whereabouts. This resulted in a safety concern.

According to TMZ, despite Brown revealing his home address, his security has confirmed that there have been no safety issues in the aftermath. Brown has since deleted the post, perhaps due to realizing it wasn’t the smartest move given his celebrity status and influence.

While the police showing up at Brown’s residence is the latest development in his beef with Offset, it’s hard to say if the dust has settled for good or if their animosity toward one another will continue to build.

Back in January, Brown and his bodyguard were detained in Paris after a reported rape allegation. Brown has since denied all accusations and has expressed his intent to file a defamation lawsuit in response.

Meanwhile, Offset has been keeping busy by supporting Cardi B after her recent Grammy win and announcing his release date for his upcoming solo album.
