A notebook owned by Drake when he was in high school is being sold for $32,500, as reported by TMZ.

The book of rhymes— being sold by Moments in Time — has old verses of Drake’s from 2002 to 2005 and was reportedly discovered in a dumpster close to Drake’s grandfather’s old furniture factory where the Toronto rapper reportedly once worked.

In total, the notebook has around 20 to 25 pages of verses, songs and random thoughts of the 6 God.

The following are a few bars from the notebook, according to TMZ.:

“Girls lie and you make it evident you affected

Up north / Drake is the president I’m respected

But I’m a liar due to the evidence you collected

From chicks in my crew / to chicks beside you

Cashiers at the drive through / them hoes lie too”

Last year, another one of Drake’s old rhyming notebooks, which contained handwritten lyrics for his 2006 mixtape Room for Improvement, was sold on the auction block as well. Most notably in the books were the lyrics to “Try Harder,” “Special” (named ”Extra Special” in the notebook), “Do What You Do,” “A Scorpio’s Mind,” “City Is Mine,” and “Bad Meaning Good” from Drake’s 2006 debut mixtape. No word how much it sold for in the auction.

Drake is nominated for seven Grammys, including Best Rap Performance for “Nice for What,” Best Rap Song, Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “God’s Plan, and Album of the Year for Scorpion. Drizzy was also reportedly asked to perform at this year’s ceremony, but turned it down.

“The fact of the matter is, we continue to have a problem in the hip-hop world,” Ken Ehrlich, longtime producer of the Grammy Awards told the New York Times. “When they don’t take home the big prize, the regard of the academy, and what the Grammys represent, continues to be less meaningful to the hip-hop community, which is sad.”

The Grammys will air tonight (Feb. 10) at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on CBS.
