DMX is getting back to business. After spending a year in federal prison for tax evasion, the veteran rapper has announced the 20th anniversary tour of his debut album, It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot. “Talk is cheap, Mothafu**a!!” X wrote on Instagram along with a flyer listing all 32 dates for the upcoming tour. Fans can expect to catch DMX in New York, Philadephia, Atlanta, Seattle, and Chicago among other cities as the tour travel across the country this Spring. DMX also revealed tickets go on sale to the public this Friday (Feb. 8) at 10 a.m. ET.

In May 1998, It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The album sold 251,000 copies in its first week in the United States and went on to become certified four times Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 2000. It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot is widely considered a classic among hip hop fans and also features the notable singles “Ruff Ryders Anthem” and “Get at Me Dog.”

The Ruff Ryder rapper’s time spent in prison last year pushed back the celebration, but DMX has set up a website where fans can get more information about the 20th anniversary tour set to take place this year. In the meantime, the rapper appears to be gearing up to release new music. It has been reported that DMX wants to resume his “rap and movie career” following his prison release. According to TMZ, DMX has received offers from movie producers to produce a biopic about his life. No announcements have been made on either project.

One thing is for sure, fans of the Dark Man X have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming months. Keep reading to see the full itinerary for DMX’s upcoming tour.
