Cardi B is a natural when it comes to keeping people interested in her personal life.
With this in mind, it comes as no surprise that the Bronx rapper — who has mastered the art of controlling her narrative — briefly entertained the rumor that she is getting back together with her estranged husband, Offset.
After TMZ ran a report on Thursday (Jan. 31) claiming that the couple has reunited on the condition that the Migos rapper will honor a “no groupies rule,” Bardi commented on the situation after leaving a court hearing connected to her strip club brawl case.
According to Vulture, when asked how things were going in regards to her relationship with her daughter’s father after stepping outside of Queens criminal court, Cardi said, “Wait for me to put my glasses on first.” Then, she added, “We’re working things out, baby.”
While keeping fans engaged regarding her romantic life, the rapper is also reportedly dealing with a couple of potential legal issues, including facing several misdemeanors for her alleged involvement in an incident that broke out at Angels NYC Strip Club in August 2018. She’s also facing possible lawsuit stemming from an incident with a fan after the Met Gala. In relation to the latter, Cardi feels as though she should not be held responsible for any possible damages.
Bardi is due back in court on April 4 to continue fighting the charges she’s facing stemming from the alleged strip club incident this past summer.
Music wise, Cardi is certainly keeping as busy as possible these days. She was recently named as one of the headlining acts for Rolling Loud and the BET Experience, as well as is reportedly working on her sophomore album. Additionally, the Invasion of Privacy rapper is also gearing up to perform as part of Bud Light’s Super Bowl Music Fest, which is set to take place this weekend in Atlanta.
On top of these live performances, Cardi B is nominated for five Grammy awards for categories that include Album of the Year and Record of the Year.
