After being released by authorities in Paris following a rape allegation, Chris Brown is reportedly gearing up to take legal action of his own.

According to TMZ, the singer, who was released without bail and is free to leave the country, is planning to file a defamation suit against a woman who has accused Brown of raping her at a hotel in Paris last week. His attorney, Raphael Chiche, confirmed news of readying the defamation complaint to E! News.

While the investigation has reportedly not yet been closed and “continues under the authority of the Parquet of Paris,” Breezy has taken to social media to declare his innocence.

“I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP! NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!” Brown wrote in a since-deleted post, captioning an image with the words “THIS B—H LYIN.’”

The singer, who has not been charged with a crime at the time of this report and denies all allegations, has also begun garnering the support of fellow celebrities, including T.I., Joyner Lucas, Meek Mill and Justin Bieber, among others.

“And what happens when somebody falsely accuse you of a crime? Nothing,” Meek Mill posted on Instagram, sharing a screenshot of the news of Brown’s release overseas. “Hold ya head @chrisbrownofficial his life could of easily been ruined from this!”

T.I. echoed the sentiment, adding, “Ok so now what happens to the FALSE accuser???? She should face the same scrutiny and punishment as he would have if he did it.” Meanwhile, Bieber sounded off in Brown’s Instagram comments, writing, “No one can touch you ur the GOAT.”

After news broke regarding Brown’s initial detainment, a woman named Kim Ford spoke on the situation. Her account of events insisted that singer, nor a member of his camp, was not involved with the hotel incident, during which she says “nothing happened.”
