An arguable part of being a legacy artist is performing in Las Vegas with a full-fledged residency. According to new reports, Drake is next to take over Sin City with one. He’ll be joining the likes of artists such as Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Stevie Wonder, Britney Spears and Celine Dion who have all embarked on their own Vegas residencies in recent years.

Per a new report published by The Blast, the OVO boss has recently inked a new multi-year deal with the city’s famed XS Nightclub.

Claims state that Drake has signed on for a minimum commitment of performing ten shows at the club, guaranteeing him more than $10 million throughout the course of the contract’s duration.

Last week, Drizzy graced the stage during an event organized in conjunction with the annual Consumers Electronics Show (CES). During his performance, he teased the crowd, saying “Vegas! When I came back, I thought it’d be back at T-Mobile Arena… I’ll be back here at XS all year. You’ll have a lot of chances to see me.”

Further adding to the speculation of his longterm deal, Drake shared a photo of himself performing at XS, captioning the photo, “New home.”

The news of Drake’s new residence arrives following the launch of his latest entrepreneurial venture, Mod Sélection. The new luxury champagne brand is in partnership with Brent Hocking, the founder of DeLeón Tequila.

Additionally, the 6 God was nominated for a total of seven Grammy awards this year for his high-profile guest collaborations and his latest studio offering, Scorpion.

While an official announcement has yet to be made regarding Drake’s upcoming residency, fans are already looking forward to the beloved rapper continuing his reign.
