After weeks of speculation, Kim Kardashian-West has officially confirmed that she and husband, Kanye West, are expecting their fourth child together.
Similarly to the birth of their daughter Chicago, the child will be born by way of surrogacy.
During a last night’s (Jan. 14) episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” the 38-year-old beauty entrepreneur and reality TV star revealed the news after Cohen, who is also expecting his first child via surrogate, asked if she was “working on another child.” Then, Kardashian confirmed that the rumors are, in fact, true.
Further adding to the excitement, Kardashian revealed that the baby is due “sometime soon,” while also confirming the Kardashian-West household will be welcoming a baby boy.
“It’s a boy. I think it’s been out there,” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” co-star added. “I got drunk at our Christmas Eve party and told some people. I can’t remember who I told because I never get drunk.”
As various reports began circulating surrounding the couple expecting their fourth child, an insider shared that the gestational carrier is a different woman than who they previously worked with.
“Since they had another embryo, Kim and Kanye always knew they wanted to try and implant that embryo too,” the source told PEOPLE. “They hoped to work with the same gestational carrier, but it didn’t work out this time. They are working with a second carrier now that is pregnant and will give birth in the spring.”
The couple’s family includes daughter North, 5, son Saint, 3, and daughter Chicago, 1.
West recently backed out of headlining the 2019 installment of Coachella due to production limitations for his live performance. He is reportedly busy at work for his forthcoming album, Yandhi.
