Much to the surprise of no one, Kanye West is continuing to turn to Twitter to air out his grievances, share the occasional inspirational gem and remind everyone that despite everything; he’s still #TeamTrump.
Additionally, over the holiday weekend (Dec. 31), ‘Ye posted a series of since-deleted tweets commenting on Drake. During the tirade, and in between spurts of him saying he feels “stronger than ever” and is surrounded by “so much good energy,” he still had some strong words for the Toronto native.
“I never knew till this morning that Drake followed my wife on Instagram back in September,” he wrote in one tweet. “I had to bring this up because it’s the most f—ked up thing of all and I just saw it this morning. Imagine having a problem with somebody and they follow your wife on Instagram.”
That wasn’t all West had to say on the subject.
“Who’s [sic] bright idea was it to tell Drake to follow my wife on Instagram? This person is not [Drake’s] friend,” West continued. “I don’t have beef with no one. Love everyone but don’t follow my f—ing wife on Instagram.” He also added that he believed “a public apology” was in order for such an offense given everything they’ve been through.
As it turns out, according to multiple sources keeping an eye on his Instagram account, the 6 God has since unfollowed Kardashian. Whether he possibly chose to do so out of respect for ‘Ye’s wishes or simply wanted to avoid continued confrontation remains unclear.
The two have had a myriad of issues in recent months, ranging from “sneak disses,” tension regarding the reveal of Drake’s son Adonis, and the rumor that Drake and Kardashian even had a secret affair. West has addressed their beef on Twitter on numerous occasions, all while explaining he will always have love for Drake and that they will patch things up in no time.
In true Scorpio fashion, Drake has opted out of engaging with West on social media and has not yet issued a comment on the status of their friendship. Perhaps 2019 will see some resolve, especially considering the fact that Ye is reportedly set to welcome his fourth child with his wife through a surrogate.
