To say that the year 2018 has been an eventful one would be a major understatement. As soon as that clock stuck 12:00 a.m. on Jan. 1 eleven months ago, there’s been nonstop twists and turns. Some good, others… not so much. They’ve been a number of different moments in 2018 that many people, ourselves included, will never forget. Some things made us laugh, some things made us angry, some things made us feel a number of different feelings at once. But, all of these instances helped us get new perspectives on things and mature to some degree. And isn’t that what people should want do every year?

Here at REVOLT TV, we’ve had our fair share of monumental moments that we’ll definitely never forget occurred in the 2018, as well. For one, we launched the mega-successful “State of The Culture” series. On top of that, our “The Breakfast Club” and “Drink Champs” series are continuing to crush it, and remain well-respected and loved in these hip hop streets. For that, we have to thank the fans who’ve been tuning into our shows from day one, as well as the amazing new fans that we’ve copped this year.

So, in honor of the greatness that REVOLT TV has witnessed in 2018, we’ve decided to take a little walk down memory lane for a few of our series. From “State of The Culture,” “The Breakfast Club,” “Drink Champs” and more; REVOLT’s programming’s had many big moments these past few months. Plus, as we head into the new year, you better believe that we’re planning many more!

With that being said, let’s take a look at the top three moments of “The Breakfast Club” in 2018 below.

1) Tekashi 6ix9ine Visits And Breaks “The Breakfast Club” Video Watching Record

When Tekashi 6ix9ine first walked into “The Breakfast Club” for his very first interview with the radio trio, we don’t think anyone knew just how huge the sit-down would turn out to be. This interview only took place of March of this year and it’s already the most watched video in the show’s history! During the convo; C Tha God, Envy and Angela Yee asked the rapper — who’s currently incarcerated — about haters, his legal issues and more.

2) DJ Envy Checks Desus and Mero For Disrespecting His Wife

Do not mess with a man and his family, especially when that man is DJ Envy. Desus and Mero learned that the hard way when they made an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” in March — which wasn’t their first time on the radio show — and the DJ told them to apologize for disrespecting his wife on their hit TV show. This interview definitely went viral, as countless fans of Desus and Mero; as well as “The Breakfast Club” couldn’t believe what went down and added didn’t hesitate their two cents about the intense moment on social media.

3) Mo’Nique Talks About Receiving “Donkey of the Day”

The queen of comedy visited “The Breakfast Club” back in February to explain why she was upset that Charlamagne gave her Donkey of the Day at one point. This interview also spread like wildfire all across the internet. Nevertheless, C Tha God assured Mo that he still had a lot of love and respect for her comedic craft and legacy. #TeamLove
