Nicki Minaj is adding to her list of movie credits, this time by way of lending her vocal talents to an upcoming animated film.

As reported by Variety, the Queen rapper has joined the cast of The Angry Birds Movie 2. The film, which will coincide with the ten-year anniversary of the mega-popular video game, is set to hit theaters on August 16, 2019.

The Sony Animation sequel features Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, and Peter Dinklage, who each will reprise their roles from the original film. Minaj joins the likes of newly cast additions such as Leslie Jones, Awkwafina, Sterling K. Brown, Lil Rel Howery and Zach Woods, among others. In the first Angry Birds movie, singer Charli XCX was part of the cast as well, voicing a bird named Willow.

While Minaj’s role currently remains unknown, her involvement in the film is not her first rodeo in major motion pictures. Previously, Minaj has played roles in movies such as Ice Age: Continental Drift, The Other Woman, and Barbershop: The Next Cut.

In addition to the news of her latest movie role, Minaj recently announced that Juice WRLD is set to replace Future on the upcoming European leg of her Queen tour. The run of shows is set to kick off in February and run through March, hitting cities such as Copenhagen, Paris, London, Dublin and Amsterdam, among others.

Minaj previously canceled the tour’s scheduled North American dates, citing problems with production. Back in August, the rapper promised that leg of her tour will be rescheduled for May 2019.

“I’m so excited to bring the full Nicki Minaj experience to my fans in Europe,” Minaj shared in a statement. “I have been carefully crafting the most exhilarating, unique, memorable piece of art to share with my incredible fans. I’m in love with Juice Wrld’s music & feel so stoked to have him join me. This will be one for the books.”

From her upcoming tour to her new budding relationship to her latest movie deal, Minaj is setting herself up for a prosperous 2019.
