It’s the most wonderful time of the year and Top Dawg Entertainment is in the Christmas spirit. Coming off an incredible year thanks to their soundtrack for Marvel’s record breaking Black Panther, the group celebrated the holidays with their 5th Annual Christmas Concert and Toy Drive in their hometown. The festivities went down on Dec. 19 at the Nickerson Gardens Projects in Watts, California with unwrapped gifts and toys being accepted for free entry.

Last year, Rihanna and E-40 were the stars of the celebration, as Rihanna performed alongside Lamar. This year’s lineup included Jay Rock, Reason, Rich the Kid, and Lamar with a surprise guest appearance by Travis Scott, who was in the city for the Astroworld Los Angeles tour stop at The Forum. He also performed his collab with Kendrick, “Goosebumps.”

Not only were they blessed with the concert, attendees were also treated to the label’s Nike x TDE Championship Tour merch. The capsule collection features a variety of item that include long sleeve shirts, dad hats and DAMN. hoodies with each following a black, red and white color scheme.

This isn’t the first time TDE has given back to the community. Earlier this year, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, the CEO of Top Dawg Entertainment, took close to 1,000 kids to screenings of Black Panther for free.

The label has been progressing nonstop for the past few years, and it looks like they won’t slow down anytime soon. Their annual toy drive is a great way to round off a powerful 2018. The label has landed a slew of major nominations for the Black Panther soundtrack. Plus, not only have they been nominated for their first Golden Globe, they’re also leading the pack for the 2019 Grammys with nods that include Record of The Year.
