Ciara and Future have reportedly run into some conflict when it comes to co-parenting their son, Future Jr.

According to a new report from TMZ (Dec. 12), the “Level Up” singer has had enough, calling on family court to intervene.

As reported, Ciara’s legal team has requested that the court force Future to enter mediation. She hopes the mediation will allow the two to amicably work on creating a travel schedule for their son’s benefit. According to the request, if the judge chooses not to force Future into mediation, she is looking to take the situation to trial to settle the matter in court.

Ciara is alleging that the superstar rapper has an increased tendency to break scheduled visits, as well as takes advantage of calling on family members to spend time with the four-year-old instead of stepping up to the plate himself.

The singer also claims the constant back-and-forth is weighing on their son, calling for the situation to be amended as soon as possible.

According to Ciara, her efforts to get back on the same page with Future have fallen short, resulting in the decision to involve family court. Per TMZ, Ciara’s main concern is to ensure that her son is able to spend ample quality time with his father, instead of being shuffled around too much.

Future and Ciara became engaged in October 2013, prior to the singer calling things off in August 2014 due to claims of infidelity. Their son, Future Zahir Wilburn, was born on May 19, 2014.
