Much to the surprise of fans, 6ix9ine, who is currently facing multiple federal charges and remains behind bars, has released his new album.

Despite his team previously sharing that the music would be postponed due to “circumstances beyond our control,” Dummy Boy ended up appearing on streaming services on Tuesday (Nov. 27).

As previously promised, the project spans 13 tracks and features an array of star-studded guest features, including from the likes of Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Gunna, Lil Baby, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Tory Lanez and Bobby Shmurda, among others.

The project was slated for a release on Friday (Nov. 23), days before the rapper was apprehended alongside four of his former associates, including his recently fired manager. 6ix9ine has been indicted on six counts of racketeering, firearms, assault with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy murder charges.

6ix9ine was previously denied bail and has trial set for September of next year. If convicted of the charges against him, he could be facing 32 years to life.

Recently, the rapper narrowly escaped jail time stemming from several run-ins with authorities, including facing an assault charge after allegedly harming an officer while being arrested for driving with a suspended license earlier this summer. He previously was sentenced with four years of probation stemming from his 2015 charge of using a child in a sexual performance.

Although 6ix9ine’s criminal history and controversial antics have been tied to his reputation from the beginning of his ascent to fame, the polarizing rapper continues to have one of the largest growing fanbases this year.
