Although 6ix9ine recently avoided jail time and was instead sentenced to four years probation, it appears that the rapper is still attracting some trouble.

The Brooklyn rapper and Kanye West reportedly experienced an unfortunate interruption while in Beverly Hills, where they had begun shooting a music video. According to reports, a shooting took place late Thursday night (Nov. 8) in the proximity of where filming was reportedly in progress. Nicki Minaj, who is collaborating with the rappers and was anticipated to be on set, had not yet arrived to the location when the gunfire broke out.

Per The Blast, 6ix9ine and West were on set when multiple shots were fired near the location where filming was underway. According to authorities, “at least 5 shell casings” were found near the property. While the investigation remains ongoing, the rented mansion has been deemed a crime scene and production has since been placed on hiatus.

While Minaj was not on set at the time, TMZ is reporting that the rapper’s dressing room was targeted in the shooting.

As reported, at least one bullet pierced the window of a mansion’s master bedroom, which had been allocated to be used as a dressing room for Minaj and her production crew. According to TMZ, West promptly left the premises after the incident occurred.

Thankfully, no one on the scene was hurt in the shooting. A suspect has not yet been apprehended.
