Cardi B is dedicated to keeping it moving. She’s determined to not let the media and her fans start more beef with Nicki Minaj and distract her from her goals.
On Wednesday (Oct. 17), TMZ issued a report that the Bronx rapper has a new diss track in the works that is so savage, her team has been allegedly debating whether she should cut out certain lines or not. However, Cardi took to Instagram to shut down the rumor before it gained any more momentum, referring to the story as “fake news” and confirming her next song has zero content relating to the Queen rapper.
In a post that has since been wiped off Cardi’s Instagram, she shared a screenshot of a conversation between someone from her team and a reporter from TMZ named Charlie. The photo revealed that the diss track does not exist.
“You see you really pressed my button a couple of weeks ago when ya had photographers literally stalk me and my daughter when I clearly said repeatedly I don’t want to show my daughter,” she wrote on Instagram, addressing how the paparazzi has been relentless in trying to capture a picture of Kulture.
“Ya constantly got me in ya blog spreading fake shit about me without doing ya research and even when we tell ya is not true ya still push it,” she continued. “Ya motherfuckers need to get off my dick and start reporting about them actresses ya used to report about cause I’m not the one to fuck with THANK YOU!! Btw in REAL news my single ‘Money’ drops November 26!!”
Although fans may have been bracing for a savage diss track, stemming from Cardi B and Nicki’s past escalating tension, the big takeaway is that Cardi is gearing up to release a new song next month.
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj isn’t backing away. She recently released a merch line dedicated to the now-joke that refers to her blocking Cardi’s money and other opportunities.
