Ella Mai confirms Chris Brown, John Legend and H.E.R. for debut album
The singer-songwriter is gearing up to make a big first introduction.
Ella Mai, a 23-year-old sensation from London, has been taking the music game by storm, establishing herself as a household name with her colossal single “Boo’d Up.”
The song, which has since been certified by the RIAA as 3x-platinum and undeniably helped lead the pack for summer 2018 anthems, has excitedly jumpstarted her career, with fans eager to hear what else the fast-rising talent has up her sleeve.
Taking to social media on Wednesday (Oct. 3), after issuing a couple of teasers, Ella has confirmed the tracklisting for her official self-titled debut album, set to be released on Oct. 12 and executive produced by DJ Mustard.
Per Ella Mai herself, the album will span 15 tracks and will include guest contributions from Chris Brown (“Whatchamacallit”), John Legend (“Everything”), and H.E.R. (“Gut Feeling”).
In addition to releasing her debut album this fall, Ella will also join Bruno Mars on select dates of his ’24K Magic World Tour,’ which is set to kick off tomorrow (Oct. 4) in Brooklyn.
