Cardi B is taking care of business this week, albeit not of her preferred variety.

According to reports, the Bronx rapper was arrested and charged on Monday (Oct. 1), turning herself in to authorities in connection with a fight that took place earlier this year.

While the charges are “currently pending,” per the NYPD, Cardi is reportedly facing possible charges of misdemeanor reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, with the alleged altercation that the charges stem from taking place at Angels Strip Club in Queens on August 29.

Per TMZ‘s report, the rapper is being accused of ordering members of her entourage to attack two of the club’s bartenders using bottles and furniture.

At the time of the incident, it was reported that both bartenders were injured but refused medical attention.

Joe Tacopina, the attorney representing the alleged victims shared in a statement with TMZ: “[Cardi B] continues to threaten them and clearly thinks her celebrity status is going to get her out of this. But it doesn’t matter if her name is Cardi B or Carl B … if she commits violent assaults she will be brought to justice.”

While the rapper herself hasn’t commented publicly on the situation, those close to her previously denied her involvement in the brawl.

Cardi B is set to be arraigned in court on October 29.

Recently, the rapper has been rumored to be in talks of possibly performing solo at the upcoming Super Bowl, as well as is anticipated to appear during Maroon 5’s headlining set.
