Earlier this summer, XXXTentacion was fatally shot in Deerfield Beach, Florida, with prosecutors working to bring his killers to justice.

During a court hearing on Thursday (Sept. 27) in Broward County, it was revealed by TMZ that the shooting was captured by a surveillance camera. The footage, which was shown to the public for the first time, shows X walking into a motorcycle dealership as two suspects trail him.

Later on, his BMW is stopped by two armed suspects who engage in a struggle with the rapper before firing their guns. After shooting X, they take off with his Louis Vuitton bag, which was reportedly filled with $50,000 in cash.

According to reports, the video footage came to light during a discovery and bail hearing for suspect Robert Allen, who is the third person arrested and charged in the murder of the late polarizing rapper.

To date, four men total have been indicted, charged and arrested for first degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm. All four have pled not guilty. The other suspects are Dedrick Devonshay, Michael Boatwright and Trayvon Newsome.

According to reports, Boatwright and Newsome were both armed when they first approached XXXTentacion. Police believe Boatwright was the one who fatally shot the rapper.

At the time of his death, XXXTentacion was facing multiple felony charges, including witness tampering, aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, false imprisonment and domestic battery by strangulation, among others.

Contributions from XXXTentacion appear on Lil Wayne’s long awaited Tha Carter V recored, which was released today (Sept. 28).
