It’s been some time since we last heard from Toronto artist Derin Falana (six months to be exact), and now he’s returned with two new tracks this week. Yesterday Derin shared a Mumbles, Andy Crae, and GHD-produced track titled “End Of Summer Freestyle” where he addresses having to patch up some relationships, folks in his surrounding who aren’t looking out for his best interest, and making adjustments in his life to remove those things that no longer support his vision.
Today he returns with a much more emotional offering titled “Say You Love Me,” in which he raps over a more simple piano-based instrumental. He reflects on people in his life who are still trying to convince him to leave his music career, how he makes sure to keep his circle of friends small and much more.
