Beyoncé rang in her 37th birthday earlier this week (Sept. 4), a momentous occasion her loyal fans have since happily dubbed as “Bey Day.”

As the Beyhive flooded the timeline with their favorite photos of her—and renowned journalist and REVOLT columnist Kathy Iandoli reflected on the countless lessons the superstar has taught us over the years—the Queen herself decided to take a moment not only to celebrate but to also express her gratitude for what went down during her last lap around the sun.

Taking to her website, Beyoncé shared an all-caps message to both thank her fans and highlight some of her favorite milestones from the last year.

“At 36, I became a new mother of 3,” the message begins. “I breastfed twins. I renewed my vows with my husband of ten years. I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything Is Love. And we’ve been touring with our family around the world, and loving it. This year has been monumental for me.”

Beyoncé then shifts gears, writing, “I thank God for everyone in my life. Thank you all for the positivity and for the beautiful birthday wishes. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present, and surrounding to the future.”

Ugh, a poet. We stan.

After signing off, Beyoncé also shared a throwback photo of herself as a baby (her mother Tina Lawson also shared the same heartwarming photo), followed by a scrapbook-esque collection of some of her favorite memories and snapshots from her 36th year of life.
