Wow. That’s the immediate reaction to Pusha-T’s scathing new diss track, “The Story of Adidon.” Vicious, scathing, and, as he himself describes in the song, “surgical,” the record is a molotov cocktail to what once was considered a (not-so) cold war. Responding to Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle,” which arrived last week, P unloads a barrage of hallow-tipped-and-venom-laced bars over JAY-Z’s “The Story Of O.J.” instrumental.

“Even though you’re multi, I see your soul don’t look alive/ The M’s count different when Baby divides the pie,” he raps, before adding, “Wait, Let’s examine why your music the last few years been angry and full of lies.”

Over the course of three-minutes, he makes it clear that nothing is off limits, with allegations that Drake is fathering a secret child with former porn star Sophie Brussaux and references to producer Noah “40” Shebib’s battle with multiple sclerosis, among many other topics. “Sophie knows better, ask your baby mother / Cleaned her up for IG, but the stench is on her,” he raps. “A baby’s involved, it’s deeper than rap / We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts / You are hiding a child, let that boy come home / Deadbeat mothafucka playin’ border patrol / Adonis is your son / And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real.” If that wasn’t enough, the song’s cover art adds extra weight to the track, as it displays a photo of Drake wearing minstrel show-era blackface. That photo has since been confirmed to be a real.

All of that said, the reactions online were aplenty.

The most scathing diss since…? We’ll wait.
