Rolling Loud 2017 was one for the books. Miami, the Bay, and SoCal. Within its three-city tidal wave came plenty of highlights. Jaden Smith’s insanely smooth moonwalk. Lil Uzi Vert’s gravity-defying Jeff Hardy-style dive (oh my). Rae Sremmurd premiering an early taste of SR3MM. Rolling Loud was the destination for some of the year’s biggest and most talked-about moments.

With the 2018 edition making its way into Miami this weekend, featuring headliners J. Cole, Travis Scott, and Future, expectations should be high. As previously reported, REVOLT will be live streaming the entire extravaganza, beginning Friday, May 11 through Sunday, May 13. But before the gates at the Hard Rock Stadium open up, get a taste of what to expect via these top moments from last year’s Rolling Loud festival.

Lil Uzi Vert leaps 20 feet into the crowd

Before debuting new tunes from Luv Is Rage 2, Lil Uzi Vert showed off his rockstar chops by performing poetry in motion into the crowd. Leaping 20 feet below, Uzi redefined the “Vert” in his name and nothing was the same afterwards.

Travis Scott letting a fan rap along to “3500”

While he’s infamously known for kicking people off his stage, Travis Scott was in good spirits for Day 3 of Rolling Loud Miami. Other than tearing down the stage for his signature night show, La Flame let a fan partake in the festivities by allowing them to perform his Rodeo standout, “3500.”

Kendrick Lamar erupts the crowd with DAMN.

Kung Fu Kenny was a main attraction at the Miami edition of Rolling Loud. Upon his arrival, anticipation was thick in the muggy air and by the time he hit the stage, all that was left to say was damn. As you can probably tell by the reaction to “DNA,” K. Dot came, saw, and conquered. The excitement was magnetic enough to draw REVOLT TV Chairman Sean “Diddy” Combs into the crowd.

Jaden Smith’s historic moonwalk

Jaden Smith became MVP of Rolling Loud SoCal after his now-historic moonwalk, which quickly earned comparisons to the legendary originator, Michael Jackson himself. Smith took to the stage in San Bernardino, California and won over the audience with his Syre cuts, but once that epic moonwalk came into fruition, he fully grabbed the night’s momentum in the palm of his hand.

Lil B brings love to Rolling Loud SoCal

In turning the other cheek, following a now infamous confrontation, Lil B galvanized an entire rap nation to “protect Lil B at all costs.” Turning hate into love, the Oakland rapper provided a prime example of courage and grace as he forgave his attackers and delivered this now-classic interview. #ProtectLilB

Migos’ C U L T U R E-Mania

Migos carried their 2017 streak into Rolling Loud Miami and, just as you might’ve imagined, the results were nothing less than big on big. Taking a detour from their trek with Future on the ‘Nobody Safe’ tour, the trio rocked the house with a dab of C U L T U R E and a full entree of hits. Expect nothing less once they arrive back in Miami this weekend.

XXXTentacion leads the crowd into a frenzy

Matching the rumbling buzz that filled the air during Rolling Loud Miami was Florida’s own XXXTentacion. The livewire rapper properly set the temperature for the night’s raucous energy.

Run the Jewels bring out Trina

For their performance, Run the Jewels brought Miami’s own Trina to perform “Panther Like A Panther.” This marked the first time the duo performed their RTJ3 standout with the rapstress for a live audience.

Future takes the “Mask Off”

Just like the music video, Future delivered “Mask Off” and, as a result, turned his Rolling Loud set into a movie.

A$AP Rocky tears down the stage

Night 1’s headliner for Rolling Loud Miami set the standard for the rest of the weekend. Keeping trill from start to finish, A$AP Rocky brought the energy and then some.
