Rae Sremmurd has been building the anticipation for SR3MM, their upcoming triple-disc album, since the top of the year. After exhausting a successive amount of summer-active tunes (“Powerglide,” “Guatemala,” “Chanel”), the hitmakers have finally announced a release date: May 4.

In an interview with Zane Lowe, super producer Mike WiLL Made-It promised “a banger from top to bottom with 27 songs” featuring appearances by Young Thug, Future, and The Weeknd. If that wasn’t enough, earlier in the year, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi teased the same to REVOLT, calling the album “the hottest music on the fucking planet.” Now slated for May 4, the album will feature three respective discs: Swae Lee’s solo debut Swaecation, Slim Jxmmi’s own Jxmtroduction, and, as Rae Sremmurd, SremmLife 3.

Last week, Rae Sremmurd released “CLOSE,” their latest collaboration with Travis Scott, off the album. A video for the single was released earlier this week.
