Kanye West made headlines earlier this weekend after posting a controversial tweet that co-signed conservative YouTube personality Candace Owens.

However, amid the backlash, the rapper did make an announcement that is much easier for fans to digest: Nas has a new album coming out this summer and he’s producing it.

Taking to Twitter, West shared a thought regarding the forthcoming G.O.O.D. Music projects he previously announced earlier in the week, ending the series of tweets with an announcement pertaining to the Queensbridge legend.

“I’m hand producing all the albums I tweeted about. Been chopping samples from the sunken place,” he shared, adding a laughing-while-crying emoji. “Pusha May 25th My album June 1st me and Cudi June 8th and Teyana June 22nd and oh yeah…”

Naturally, such a project has been long overdue and apparently, Yeezy will be having a hand in what will presumably be Nas’ next studio album, despite leaving majority of the details up to speculation.
